Buccaneers' Mike Glennon could make $14 million

Quarterback Mike Glennon is reportedly on the San Francisco 49ers' radar.

According to a report from CSN Chicago, the Jets are no longer in the running for the ex-Buccaneers quarterback.

Jack Sparrow Has Pissed Off Everyone in New 'Pirates' Trailer
Only it is not an alive enemy, but a dead man - a pirate ghost who blames Jack Sparrow for the death of his brother. His costume is pure Jack Sparrow and he has on a hat and long hair, but he is clean shaven and thinner.

Whether teams have soured on Glennon because of preferred alternatives, second thoughts or guesstimates of his eventual cost (between $14 million and $15 million by some accounts), the result might be the same: a price break for the Bears. He was selected in the third round of the 2013 draft from North Carolina State. He had a completion percentage of 59.4, and a quarterback rating of 83.9.

The 27-year-old hasn't started a game since 2014. Tampa Bay ended up benching McCown in favor of Glennon midway through the season. The 49ers hold the No. 2-overall pick, one ahead of the Bears in this year's draft.

Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMBA) Expected To Report Earnings On Tuesday
Analysts mean target price for The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) is $43.79 while their mean recommendation is 2.60 (1=Buy, 5=sell). The company reported $0.92 earnings per share for the quarter, beating the Zacks' consensus estimate of $0.74 by $0.18.

Throughout the offseason, Glennon's name has been linked to the Jets for several reasons, the biggest being that Gang Green has an obvious need at quarterback. He's never completed 60 percent or more of his passes in a single season, and outside of his 19-touchdown rookie campaign, he's been average at best.

In the 18 games he has started in his career, Glennon owns a 5-13 career record.
