JFK admits major security breach

The agency didn't notify police until two hours after the security breach, said officials, who blamed the "belated notification by the US Transportation Security Administration" for its inability to find the travelers before they boarded flights.

An unattended JFK Airport checkpoint let 11 people pass through without being screened during a Monday morning security breach, the Port Authority said.

Port Authority of NY and New Jersey spokesman Joe Pentangelo says it happened Monday morning at Terminal 5. Instead, the TSA used its own agents to look for the unscreened passengers. "The protocol says law enforcement is immediately notified".

Patriots receiver Michael Floyd pleads guilty to extreme DUI
The extreme DUI charge wasn't the only one he was facing, but six additional charges were dropped when he put in the guilty plea. Including the playoffs, Floyd played in four games for the Patriots, catching a total of five passes for 51 yards and touchdown.

All 11 were all allowed to board flights even though neither they nor their carry on bags had been screened.

"Port Authority Police are continuing to assist federal authorities in efforts to identify and locate the other eight passengers", Pentangelo said in an email statement. To have people go through the security lines unchecked, and then for TSA not to alert the Port Authority for two hours - can you imagine what could happen within two hours? A Port Authority Police spokesperson told that outlet the three people who set off the alarm all flew to California.

The TSA says it's reviewing the incident.

It says all personal carry-on bags received the required screening.

"TSA conducted security measures at the passengers' arrival airport".
