Plane hits deer during takeoff in Charlotte, NC

A regional jet struck a deer when it was taking off in Charlotte, North Carolina, Wednesday, and subsequently was found leaking fuel, American Airlines said.

Around 12:15 p.m. EST, PSA Airline flight 5320 was taking off from the airport when it struck a deer on Runway 36C.
