Short-handed Warriors crushed by Nuggets, 132-110

Nikola Jokic on Monday night got his second career triple-double as the Denver Nuggets tied an National Basketball Association record with 24 three-pointers while shocking the Golden State Warriors 132-110.

The Warriors are now the top seed in the Western Conference with a 46-9 record, followed more closely than you might expect by the San Antonio Spurs (four games back), and the Nuggets' victory Monday night gave them a two-game hold on the No. 8 seed. Malone can also be encouraged by the play of 21-year-old big man Nikola Jokic, who followed up a 40-point outburst at NY on Friday with 27 points and 13 rebounds on Saturday.

In Dallas, Isaiah Thomas had 29 points and eight assists, while backcourt teammate Marcus Smart added 19 points against his hometown team as Boston beat Dallas. That said, the Nuggets only had nine players and could have easily chalked this up as a loss before the game even started. Not only did he break his record, but he went on to demolish it, totaling 27 points and ten rebounds on the night.

Trump vows cheaper border wall
But Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and two former presidents of Mexico have emphasized the country will not pay for it . Trump told law enforcement officials on Wednesday , "The wall is getting designed right now".

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Nuggets are now 11.5-point home underdogs versus the Warriors after opening as a 10.5-point dog. Four Nuggets hit at least four three-pointers, and Denver (25-30) finished at 60 per cent on their three-point attempts. On the court the offensive stats the Nuggets put up were vast.

The Warriors may still sit at the top of the standings of the Western Conference, going 46-9 on the season, with the best record in the league, but nobody would have known based off their performance last night.

Oil prices tumble as investors brace for possible spike in United States supply
That was in line with the industry-funded American Petroleum Institute , which reported yesterday a 14.2 million-barrel increase. US crude imports rose by 1.1 million barrels a day from the previous week.

Of course, Jokic is scoring and assisting at an elite level but he's also learned how to use angles and his frame to track down rebounds without a resemblance of athletic ability. He became one of four players ever to have a 40-point game in The Garden before turning 22.

Jokic's line over the past three games? Following their big Warriors win the Nuggets picked up their 25th victory of the season.
