An average of 158 million people use the Snapchat app on a daily basis, and they create 2.5 billion snaps a day. This information will become clear closer to Snapchat's actual market debut.

Though Snap didn't specify terms in the filing, the offering is expected to value the company at between $20 billion and $25 billion, people familiar with the matter have said.
