Mirko Cro Cop vs. Ben Rothwell Likely for UFC 110 in February
UFC heavyweight competitors Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Ben Rothwell will be likely fighting on at UFC 110 on February 21 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.
The bout was first reported by Sherdog.
Cro Cop, who is 35 years-old, has lost two of his three UFC fights. He most recently fought against Junior Dos Santos in September at UFC 103, losing in the third round by verbal submission.
His opponent Rothwell is coming off a disappointing second-round TKO loss to Cain Velasquez in October at UFC 104.
In addition to the Cro Cop vs. Rothwell match-up, the event is expected to feature a middleweight fight between Wanderlei Silva and Yoshihiro Akiyama.
UFC 110 will be the organization’s first trip to Australia.
