DREAM Announces Six-Sided Cage for DREAM.12 Event in October

DREAM officials announced during a press conference on Tuesday that the DREAM.12 event scheduled for October 25 will take place in a six-sided cage, instead of the usual ring.
In addition, the organization announced that the event’s fight will be contested under three five-minute rounds.
Previous events lasted for two rounds, which included a ten-minute first-round, followed by a five-minute second round.
The changes will only be implemented to a single event each year, starting with DREAM.12, which takes place at the Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka, Japan.
DREAM also announced two fights for the DREAM.12 event, including a lightweight match between Eddie Alvarez and Katsunori Kikuno and a welterweight match Kuniyoshi Hironaka and Won Sik Pak.
