Mirko Cro Cop Signs Three-Fight Deal With UFC

UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta announced this past Saturday during a Q&A session at the UFC Fan Expo that Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic has signed a three-fight deal with the UFC.
Previous reports stated that Cro Cop signed a deal with the DREAM organization in Japan following his win over Mustafa Al-Turk at UFC 99. However, Cro Cop denied that he had signed any deals. Shortly thereafter, it was reported that Lorenzo Fertitta flew over to Cro Cop’s residence in Zagreb, Croatia, to offer him a deal that was non-refusable.
With the new UFC deal, Cro Cop is expected to take on Junior Dos Santos at UFC 103 on September 19 at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
